Betty Lou Papesh

Betty L. Papesh, age 88 of Watkins, MN, died on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at the Hilltop Health Care Center in Watkins, MN. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 23, 2017 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Grove City, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at church on Friday. Interment will be held at the First Lutheran Cemetery in Grove City, MN. Betty Lou Papesh, the daughter of Archie and Ida (Anderson) Pearson, was born on April 3, 1929 in Union Grove Township, MN. She graduated from Grove City High School and was united in marriage to Richard Papesh on August 29, 1946 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Grove City. Along with her husband Dick, she helped run the Papesh Produce in Atwater from 1946 to 1950 and the Grove City Television Service from 1953 until 1990. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and enjoyed bowling, dancing and playing cards. She is survived by her nieces and nephews and was preceded in death by her parents Archie and Ida; husband Richard ""Dick""; and brothers and sisters Chester, Eileen, Lester, Helen, Phyllis and Lawrence ""Bud"".
