Clifford Rolf Hedtke was born on September 26, 1930 in Grove City, MN and received his education at St. John Lutheran Church School in Atwater. He served in the US Army where he was an honor graduate of the track vehicle mechanics course. Clifford was united in marriage to Nancy Anglemeire on October 20, 1962 in Rockford, IL. Clifford and Nancy were married for 36 years. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. On January 20, 2000 he was united in marriage to Donna Laidlaw in Atwater. After returning home from the army Cliff took over the family farm. Cliff would often say he never worked a day in his life because he enjoyed farming so much that it never felt like work. In his retirement years he enjoyed camping with family and road trips collecting Minneapolis Moline tractors with his grandson. He favored his Molines and continued to collect and pass on his love for them to his family where they enjoyed going to threshing shows, and competing in tractor pulls. His family was his greatest joy. Cliff also had a passion for singing and was active in barber shop quartets, the Willmar Chorus and the West Central Connections.

Cliff is survived by his wife Donna; children Kevin (Jane) Hedtke and Carmin Mooney; grandchildren Cara Cline, Josh (Mallory) Cline, K.C. Cline and Austin Cline; great grandchildren Kaden, Avery, Maddie, Jaidyn, Brantley, Scarlette, Jacxon, Aria and Evelyn; and sisters Glenna Roos and Ellen Roos.

He was preceded in death by his parents Theorore and Eleanor; son Keith; brothers Wilbert and Theodore; a sister Lorna; and brothers-in-law Bill, Elmer and Allen.

Donation in memory of Cliff may be given to St. John Lutheran Church of Atwater or the Youth in Harmony Festival hosted by the West Central Connection Chorus.
