Daniel Joseph Scullard

Daniel (Danny) Joseph Scullard, age 48, of Burnsville died on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at his home. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 11, 2018 at the Church of St. Philip in Litchfield. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Daniel Joseph Scullard, the son of Richard and Dorothy (Fallon) Scullard, was born on July 30, 1969 in Watertown, MN. His family moved to Brainerd, Darwin and then to Litchfield in 1978. He graduated from Litchfield High School in 1987. Following high school, he continued his education at Lawrence University in Appleton, WI, earning a B.A. from Macalester College, St. Paul. He earned his Masters Degree in Library Science in Milwaukee, WI. Dan successfully pursued a career in computer technology where he provided computer support to staff and residents at Shalom Homes in the Cities. He then worked several years for The Connection as a senior computer systems administrator. Daniel will be lovingly remembered for his eccentric creativity, quick wit, and sense of humor. He had several unique collections and enjoyed reading, photography, traveling, growing plants, and exploring the possibilities of technology. He is survived by his daughter Juniper Scullard, father Richard Scullard; siblings Mickey Scullard, Tom (and Lynelle) Scullard, Tim Scullard (and Marilou), Kristi Whitcomb, Peggy Scullard (Brian Griffin), Colleen (and Mike) Bender; 17 nieces and nephews and 5 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Scullard, aunts Audrey Brown and Janet Scullard and uncle Joe Renner.
