Darlene D. Lambert

Darlene D. Lambert, age 63, of Litchfield died on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at her home. A visitation will be held from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at the Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield. A private family service will take place at a later date. Darlene Sayles-Lambert, the daughter of Roger and Delores ""Babe"" (Arndt) Sayles was born on May 31, 1950, in Litchfield. She grew up in Cosmos and graduated from Cosmos High School. Darlene was blessed with two wonderful children: Rick Johnson and Rochelle Johnson. She worked for 23 years for the Litchfield School District driving students with special needs. She was a member of First Lutheran Church. Darlene enjoyed gardening and flowers. She loved spending time with her close friends. She is survived by her son, Rick (and Vicki) Johnson of Scottsdale, AZ; daughter, Rochelle Johnson of Minneapolis; significant other, Gary Olson of Litchfield. She is also survived by her siblings, Pat (and Don) Hepner of Glencoe, Dale (and Roxanne) Sayles of Damascus, OR, Julie Sayles-Aquilera of Liberty, KY, John (and Fran) Sayles of Sandy, OR, Roger (and Dawn) Sayles of Estacada, OR, Darla (and Mike) Hareza of Phoenix, AZ; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, step-grandchildren, and many special friends.
