Darrell Kenneth Huhn

Darrell K. Huhn, age 76 of Darwin, MN died on Monday December 22, 2025 at the St. Cloud Hospital surrounded by family. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday December 29, 2025 at Johnson Hagglund Funeral and Cremation Service in Litchfield, MN. A visitation will be held from 2:00 – 5:00 PM on Sunday December 28, 2025 at Johnson Hagglund Funeral and Cremation Service and will continue one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Ripley Cemetery, Litchfield, MN.

Darrell Kenneth Huhn, the son of Kenneth and Margaret (Remer) Huhn was born on August 19, 1949 in Hutchinson, MN. When he was young, his family lived on various farms until moving to Litchfield in 1963. In 1968, he graduated from Litchfield High School and then served in the US Army during Vietnam. Darrell was united in marriage to Mary Zurn in Boyceville, Wisconsin in 1973. They lived in North East Minneapolis when he worked in an aluminum foundry and then moved to Darwin where he farmed growing corn and soybeans and worked on trucks. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Litchfield and later Cornerstone Church. Darrell restored and collected Oliver tractors. He traveled to threshing shows and was a member of the Collectors Association. He enjoyed family, working, antique tractor pulling, deer hunting and traveling.

He is survived by his wife Mary of Darwin, MN; mother Margaret Huhn of Litchfield, MN; children Spencer (Laura) Huhn of Peoria, IL, Crystal (Dale) Willis of Glen Rose, TX and Derek (Melissa) Huhn of Monticello, MN; grandchildren Michaela, Jackson, Megumi, Alivia and Kendall; great granddaughter Lua; siblings Donald (Patricia) Huhn, JoAnn (Thomas) Goodman, Roger (Janet) Huhn, Gary (Barbara) Huhn, Sharon (Bradley) Hilliker and Joyce (Scott) Paules; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Kenneth.
