Dean Kellner

Dean Dareld Kellner, age 81, passed away August 31, 2023 at North Memorial Hospital. He was born March 21, 1942 near Algona, IA. He graduated from John Tyler High School in Tyler, TX and studied Machine Technology at Dunwoody Institute in Minneapolis, MN. He bought a home in Northeast Minneapolis and raised his family there. He worked as a machinist and was a landscape artist. Later in life, he supported many charitable causes and provided transportation to many individuals in need. He will be remembered for his empathy and generosity.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Esther Ross and Geneva, Vincent and Christine Kellner, brothers Daniel (Joni) Ross, Joseph Ross, Vincent Kellner Jr., Franny Kellner and Larry Kellner and sisters Barbara (Mark) Bernhardt and Loraine Frascher.

He is survived by his daughters Brenda (Paul) Pemble and Beth Kellner; Grandchildren: Robert (Jessica) Pemble, Lisa Pemble, Stephanie (Michael) Spafford, Colleen Pemble, Samuel Pemble and Matthew Pemble; Great-Grandchildren: Cecelia, Catherine, Franklin Pemble and Olivia and Jemma Spafford; Siblings: Mary (Rick) Kastner, Robert (Loraine) Kellner, Janice (William) Neisler, William (Betty) Kellner, Paul Kellner, Christine (Gary) Barth, and Emma Jean (Gary) Lint, and beloved extended family members and friends.

He will be laid to rest at the Calvary Cemetery in Litchfield, MN.
