Doris Rindahl

Doris M. Rindahl passed away on August 29, 2023, at the age of 79 in Litchfield, MN. Born on December 30, 1943, in Duluth, MN to Victor J Kooyer and Blanche Luella Moorehouse Schiefert, Doris had a life filled with love, joy, and cherished memories. A memorial service will be held at Harvest Community Church in Litchfield, MN on September 9, 2023 at 10:30 AM. There will be a visitation one hour prior. 

Doris attended Erskine High School in MN and received her GED in 1975 before embarking on her career as a bookkeeper and office administrator. She was married to Otis Arthur Rindahl at Bethany Lutheran Church in East Grand Forks in 1969 until he passed away in 1994.

Throughout her life, Doris had numerous hobbies and interests. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, painting, and reading, as well as activities such as bowling and golfing. Above all else, Doris treasured spending time with her grandchildren, family, and friends.

Doris leaves behind a legacy that will be carried on by her surviving family and friends. She is survived by Dewayne Krogstad of Litchfield,MN—her significant other, and her children, Rod (Dannette) Rindahl of Litchfield, MN; Robert Rindahl of Andover, MN; Randy (Shirley Ballie) Rindahl of Poplar, WI; Lorri (Merl) Daniels of Blaine, MN; Raymond (Amy) Rindahl of Victoria, MN; Sandy (Warren) Juengel of Sanford, MI; Traci (Bill) Larsen of Cottage Grove, MN; and Todd (Heidi Benkowski) Krogstad of North St.Paul, MN. Alongside her children, Doris is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Debbie Dean of Florida and Barb (Earl) Granroth of Poplar, WI are her surviving sisters.

Doris is preceded in death by her parents Victor Kooyer and Blanch Luella Moorehouse Schiefert, her late husband Otis Aruthur Rindahl, and her siblings Shirly Wiskerchen, Betty Vevea, Jim Kooyer, Raymond Kooyer, Richard kooyer, Don Kooyer, and Glenn Kooyer.
