Hilda Anna Ella Fenrich

Hilda A. Fenrich, age 89, of Grove City died peacefully on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at her home with her family by her side. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Litchfield. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral. Interment will be in the Ripley Cemetery. Hilda Anna Ella Fenrich, the daughter of Dick and Alma (Brockman) Bremer, was born on October 4, 1928 in Tenhassen Township, MN. She was baptized and confirmed at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wilbert, MN. She attended parochial school in Wilbert. On April 20, 1949, she was united in marriage to Verner Fenrich in Wilbert. They lived in Ceylon until 1961 when they moved to Grove City. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Litchfield. Hilda volunteered driving for several years. She enjoyed bowling, dancing, playing shuffle board and cards. She is survived by her husband Verner Fenrich of Grove City, son Dale (Kathy) Fenrich of Litchfield, daughter Barb Asmus of Grove City; grandchildren Lindsay (Scott Yelle) Fenrich, Taylor (Amanda) Fenrich, Cameron Fenrich, Seth (Katie Schmoll) Asmus and Sara (Chris) Creger and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Clarence and Ernest Bremer and sisters Ruth Heinrich, Zelda Bremer and Verna Tietje.
