Jack Eric Carlson

Jack Carlson (66) passed away in his sleep in his home on October 19th, 2026. Jack was born in Minneapolis, MN on July 18th, 1960. He was raised in Bloomington, MN where he graduated from Kennedy High School. He married Diane Carlson (Michalko) and had 3 children. In the mid 90s he and the family moved to Litchfield, MN. Most recently, he was an employee at Doosan Bobcat.

Throughout his life, Jack loved the outdoors. He took every opportunity to go hunting and fishing and was passionate to share his love for those hobbies with his friends and family. He also loved sports and spent many years playing softball and serving as an umpire.

Jack was known for his larger than life personality, ability to make everyone laugh, and his ceaseless joy for the people around him.

He is survived by his children, Eric, Gina, and Kari, his granddaughters Cally, Abigail, Mila and Kayleigh, and his siblings, Warren, Linda, and Dawn. He was preceded in death by his wife, Diane, his parents, Walter and Geraldine Carlson, and his brother Bruce Carlson.

The family is holding a celebration of life for Jack at the Darwin Rod & Gun Club on Saturday, November 14th, from 2:00-5:00.
