Janet E. Hendrickson

Janet E. Hendrickson, age 53, of Watkins died on Monday, August 28, 2017 at her home in Watkins, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, September 1, 2017 at the Church of St. Philip in Litchfield, MN. A visitation will be held from 5 - 8 PM on Thursday at the Church of St. Philip with an 8:00 PM prayer service. Interment will be held at the St. Gertrude Cemetery in Forest City, MN. Janet Elaine Hendrickson, the daughter of Gerald and Carolyn (Worley) Honeycutt was born in Brockton, MA on May 15, 1964. She graduated from High School in Princeton, NC and was united in marriage to Steve A. Hendrickson on April 10, 1983 in Smithfield, NC. She lived at the Seymour Johnson Airforce Base in Goldsboro, NC from 1983 - 1992 and moved to Kingston, MN in 1993 and then moved to Watkins, MN, where she currently lived. Janet was a member of the Church of St. Gertrude in Forest City. She worked at the Litchfield High School as a paraprofessional where she enjoyed working and connecting with students. Janet lived for the sunshine and was happiest on a beach or floating in her pool. She had a love for flip flops and pedicures. She enjoyed going for walks, fishing and having weekly date nights with her husband, shopping with her mother-in-law, hosting Sunday dinners, watching her grandchildren's activities, and traveling with family and friends. Above all else, she loved being a wife to her husband, a mother to children, and Meema to Ryder, Piper, Jack, Axel, Beau, and Cameron. Janet is survived by her husband Steve Hendrickson of Watkins, MN; Mellissa (Nate) Miller of Holdingford, MN, Danielle (Max) Johnson of Darwin, MN and Steven S. (Erin) Hendrickson of St. Augusta, MN; six grandchildren with two more on the way; parents Gerald and Carolyn Honeycutt; brothers Dana (Sandra) Erickson of Smithfield, NC and David (Cindy) Erickson of Smithfield, NC; and sisters Kristen Erickson of Massachusetts, Karen (Troy) Webster of Smithfield, NC and Missy Erickson of Princeton, NC.
