Kirsten D. Riley, age 47, of Litchfield, Minnesota, passed away on June 12, 2026 surrounded by family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday June 20, 2026 at Cornerstone Church in Litchfield, MN. Visitation will be held from 11am - 1pm also at Cornerstone Church.

Kirsten was born to Don and Diane (Mach) Lee and grew up in Litchfield. She graduated from Litchfield High School in 1997 and continued her education at Ridgewater College, where she pursued her passion for caring for others. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, Kirsten dedicated many years of service to patients and families through her work at Meeker Memorial Hospital & Clinics. Her compassion, kindness, and commitment to helping others made a lasting impact on those she cared for and worked alongside.

Kirsten was a devoted Christian who found great comfort and peace in her faith, especially during the final years of her life. She often turned to the Bible and Christian music for strength, encouragement, and reassurance. Her faith provided her with hope and comfort through life's challenges.

Kirsten found joy in spending time outdoors and creating lasting memories with family and friends. She loved gardening, ice fishing, sunbathing, and attending family gatherings. She was also the number one fan of the beloved television series Little House on the Prairie and could often be found enjoying episodes of the classic show. She had a special fondness for collecting snow globes and gnomes, treasures that brought her happiness and reflected her playful spirit.

Whether tending to her flowers, enjoying a day on the lake, relaxing in the sunshine, listening to her favorite Christian songs, or spending time with those she loved, Kirsten embraced life with warmth and enthusiasm. Her generous spirit, caring heart, unwavering faith, and deep love for her family were the center of her life.

She will be remembered for her dedication to her family, her devotion to her profession, her faith in God, and the kindness she showed to everyone she met. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Kirsten is survived by her loving husband, Patrick Riley; her children, David, Nicole, Mollie, and Charlie; her mother, Diane Lee; her siblings, Chris (Jessie) Lee and Carianne (Jeromy) Crusoe; along with many extended family members, friends, and loved ones who will cherish her memory.

She is preceded in death by her father, Donald Lee; grandparents Frank and Mary Ann Mach, Vincent and Lorraine Lee.
