Kyle J. Birkemeyer

Kyle J. Birkemeyer, age 58, of St. Cloud formerly of Litchfield, MN, died on Tuesday November 7, 2017 at the St. Cloud VA Health Care System. A private family graveside service was held at Ripley Cemetery, Litchfield, MN Kyle John Birkemeyer the son of Richard and Doris (Hillmeyer) Birkemeyer was born on June 13, 1959 in Litchfield, MN where he grew up with his three brothers. Kyle participated in swimming, Boy Scouts and was a church usher while growing up. He received his education in Litchfield High School and served in the US Army from 1976 to 1983. Kyle married Sue Volinkaty on June 10, 1989 and to that marriage 2 daughters were born. Kyle was a member of the DAV and the VFW Post #428. He was a long time volunteer at the St. Cloud VA and the Disabled American Veterans. He will be remembered for his caring personality and enjoyed fishing, driving, taking long walks and spending time with his daughters.. He is survived by his children Melanie (Alec) Esnough of Annandale, MN and Becca Birkemeyer of Annandale, MN; mother Doris Birkemeyer of Litchfield, MN; brothers Kurt (Bridget) Birkemeyer of Litchfield, MN, Kim Birkemeyer of Litchfield, MN and Kris Birkemeyer of St. Cloud, MN; nephew William Birkemeyer; niece Hannah Birkemeyer; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Richard and grandparents.
