LaVonne Kruger

LaVonne G. Kruger, the only child of Elmer and Gladys (Pence) Varland, was born in Buffalo Lake, MN, on November 23, 1938. She graduated from Litchfield High School in 1956. Following graduation, she worked for Northwest Airlines and later in life worked in retail sales. LaVonne married Kenneth Kruger on April 29, 1961, at Beckville Lutheran Church in rural Litchfield. They were blessed with two children, Lorie and David. LaVonne enjoyed spending her summers at their lake home on Lake Minne Belle, traveling, and spending time with her grandson. Starting in 2009, LaVonne split her time between Minnesota and Florida, where she enjoyed playing cards, bocce, and not having to be in the cold and snow. LaVonne is a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Litchfield.

LaVonne died at the age of 87 while residing at Talamore Senior Living in Woodbury, MN. LaVonne is survived by her daughter Lorie (Don) Danielson of Lakeland, MN; daughter-in-law Kris Kruger of Minneapolis, MN; grandchild Ryan (Jacqueline) Danielson of Woodbury, MN. LaVonne is preceded in death by her parents, husband Kenneth, and son David.

Private interment will be in the Ripley Cemetery in Litchfield, MN.
