She grew up in Eden Valley and graduated from Litchfield High School in 1966. She attended college in Willmar and she received her Social Work Degree from the St. Cloud State University. She was united in marriage to Lance Satterlee on November 30, 1968 at the Church of St. Philip in Litchfield, MN. Together they raised five children. Linda worked at Litchfield Municipal Liquor for over 30 years; helped run Satterlee Electric and was an aerobics instructor for many years when she operated the Health Hut in Litchfield.
