Loisjean Fossen

Loisjean Fossen of Kimball, passed away surrounded by her family on October 3, 2025, at the age of 78. Services will be at a later date.

Loisjean was born January 12, 1947 to Marion (Pratt) and Ernest Tulowetzke in Ortonville, MN. Loisjean was a devoted wife to James Fossen for 61 years. They were married in Milbank, SD, on February 8, 1964.

As a mother of four, grandmother of two, and great-grandmother of two, Loisjean was the heart of the Fossen Family. Loisjean had a knack for remembering every birthday, anniversary, and important date in her family and friends lives. She never failed to send them a card or make a call.

Loisjean is survived by her loving husband James Fossen; children Todd (Jackie) Fossen, Dwayne Fossen, and Quentin (Andrea) Fossen; grandchildren Maylanie Fossen, and Cody Fossen; great-grandchildren Wyatt and Bentley; siblings Ellemae (Kenny) Blum, Arlys (Larry) Roder, Lavern Tulowetzke, Janet Boettcher, Jimmy (Angie) Tulowetzke, LeRoy Tulowetzke, Raenelle Brotzel, and Brian Tulowetzke.

She is preceded in death by her parents Marion and Ernest Tulowetzke; sister Marlys Boyle; daughter Jodinna Rae Fossen; brother-in-law Allen Brotzel, and Jim Boettcher.
