Loma Janusch

Loma Ruth Janusch, age 75 of Litchfield, MN passed away on September 24, 2025.

Loma was born on March 5th, 1950, in Maple Lake, MN, to Herb and Edna Janusch. She grew up alongside her sister Stella and graduated from Annandale High School. Loma pursued higher education at Mankato State University before transferring to Columbus, Ohio, where she earned her nursing degree.

As a dedicated cardiac care nurse in Columbus, Ohio Loma later returned to Minnesota, where she joined Methodist Hospital. She also contributed to the research department but always found her truest passion in direct patient care.

While in Columbus, Loma met Gerald Threadway, the love of her life. They were married on June 6th, 1998, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Annandale, MN. Loma often said that nursing was her lifelong calling. Caring for her patients brought her immense joy, and she cherished sharing her knowledge and experience with others.

Loma is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gerald Threadway; and her sister Stella Janusch.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.
