Lynn Gary Andrews

Lynn G. Andrews, age 61, of Litchfield died on August 27, 2017 at his home in Litchfield. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at the Cornerstone Church in Litchfield. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, September 4th at the Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home and will continue one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Interment will be in the Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. Lynn Gary Andrews, the son of Edgar and Edna (Haggart) Andrews, was born on June 28, 1956 in Buffalo, MN. He grew up in Litchfield and graduated from Litchfield High School in 1974. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and Served until 1981. He was married to Deb Hopkins and later Teresa Carter. He returned to Minnesota and began driving truck. He later started Andrews Construction, performing excavating work for several years before returning to trucking. He was married to Patricia Tilley on November 11, 2011. Lynn was a member of First Baptist Church and later Cornerstone. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, listening to music, fishing and playing video games. He also enjoyed hockey and was an avid Wild fan. Lynn was inseparable from his dog Boo. He is survived by his wife Patty of Litchfield; children Aaron (and Samantha) Andrews of Isanti, Tim (and Sam) Andrews of Hawaii and Lindsey Andrews of Minneapolis; grandchildren Caitlyn Andrews and Riley Andrews and great grandson Jace Andrews. He is also survived by his sisters Violet (and Bud) Frelander of Litchfield and Darlene (and Woody) Rittenbach of Bismark and his step-father George Schunk of Litchfield. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
