Marilyn L. Tintes

Marilyn L. Tintes, age 52 of Litchfield, MN died on Friday January 19, 2024 at her home in Litchfield, MN.  A visitation celebration of life will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 PM on Thursday January 25, 2024 at Johnson Hagglund Funeral Home.  Interment will be held at Our Lady of Manannah Catholic Cemetery.

Marilyn Lafaye Tintes, the daughter of  Eloise Lorraine Tintes was born on March 2, 1971 in Minneapolis, MN. Marilyn graduated from Litchfield High School in 1989.  She was united in marriage to Michael R. Plamann on January 20, 2005 in Las Vegas.  She worked for First District for many years and enjoyed gardening, music, horses, playing computer games, and going for drives in stormy weather.  

Marilyn was a devoted mother to her two kids Nathanel and Jada.  Marilyn was also an animal lover of her 2 cats Simba and Gregory that she loved dearly.  She loved banging her head to metal and rock music and was never afraid to show off her silly side.  Friends and family will also remember the way she laughed and how positive she always seemed to be.  Marilyn never had anything bad to say about anyone making extremely easy to confide in her.  She will be dearly missed by everyone who met her and was touched by her kind soul and had the chance to laugh with.

She is survived by her husband Michael Plamann of Litchfield, MN; Children Nathan Fortun of Maple Grove, MN and Jada Plamann of Litchfield, MN; aunts and uncles; Steve (Patti) Tintes of CO, Dave Tintes of TX, Ginni (Steve) Duggan of KS, Gary Tintes of MN, Bill Tintes of NE, Mari (Jim) Gillman of MN, Barbara Tintes (Tim Thompson) of VA and Patrick (Joy) Tintes of MO. 

She was preceded by her mother Eloise Tintes and grandma Frances Tintes.
