Michael Eugene Homann

Michael Eugene Homann, age 71, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 25 at 1:00 PM with a visitation starting at 12:00 PM at Johnson Hagglund Funeral Home. Interment will be in Ripley Cemetery. 

Michael Eugene Homann passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the age of 71. He was born on June 16, 1954, in Poplar, Montana to Eugene and Joann (Kruger) Homann. The family moved to the Twin Cities and finally settled in Litchfield. Michael graduated from Litchfield Senior High, class of 1972. He worked various jobs throughout high school. After graduation, he began to work at Littfin Lumber.

Michael had many interests, he liked working on cars, woodworking, enjoying the company of his pets, listening to music especially rock-n-roll and hunting.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Joann; grandparents Fred and Dora Homann, William and Cecelia Kruger. Michael is survived by his son, Michael Thomas Holmes; sisters Wendy Pillatzki, Suzan Anderson and Heide Homann; nieces and nephews; many more relatives and friends.
