Nancy M. Howk

Nancy M. Howk, age 64, of Litchfield, MN, died on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at home on the family farm in rural Litchfield, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at the Church of St. John in Darwin, MN. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 PM on Monday at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home with a 7:30 PM Prayer service. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at church on Tuesday. Nancy Marie Howk, the daughter of Lowell and Muriel (Peipus) Howk, was born on May 13, 1952 in Hutchinson, MN. She graduated from Litchfield High School in 1970 and spent all her life in the Meeker and McLeod County area. Nancy worked in manufacturing at 3M, HTI, IRD and Better Half Embroidery and Intensity Signs. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Darwin, MN. She enjoyed traveling, reading, gardening, watching auto racing and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her children Chad (Brenda) Johanneck of Glencoe, MN, Roxanne McLain of Litchfield, MN and Kyle (Emily) Joramo of Litchfield, MN; 5 grandchildren Nathan (Alicia) Johanneck, Stephanie (Joel) Urdahl, Caleb McLain, Tessa Johanneck and Noah Joramo; 7 great grandchildren Carson, Carter, Annabella and Adelynn Johanneck, Kyra, Brylee and Devyn Urdahl; brother Richard (Marilyn) Howk of Dassel, MN; sister Lynettte Howk of Darwin, MN; and beloved friend Floyd Joramo.
