Nathaniel J. Stenger

Nathaniel J. Stenger, age 24, of Watkins died early Thursday, October 6, 2011. A Mass of Christian Funeral will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, October 10, 2011 at the Church of St. Philip in Litchfield with Father Joseph Steinbeisser officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday, October 9th with a parish prayer service at 8:00 PM at the Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield. Interment will be in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Nathaniel ""Nate"" Jacob Stenger, the son of Michael and Carol (Kirwin) Stenger, was born on July 8, 1987 in Litchfield, MN. He attended St. Philip's Catholic School and graduated from Litchfield High School in 2005. After high school he lived in the rural Watkins area and worked at various construction jobs. He is survived by his parents; Michael and Carol Stenger of Watkins and a brother Chris (and Sue) Stenger also of Watkins. He is also survived by his niece Lindsay Stenger, other family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
