Patricia Faye Reins

Patricia F. Reins, age 79, of Minnetonka, MN, died on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at the Meeker Manor in Litchfield, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at Church of St. Philip in Litchfield, MN, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Visitation will also be at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield, MN on Monday, June 18, 2018, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, in Litchfield, MN. Pat was born on October 30, 1938, in Grove City, MN to parents, Walter and Alice (McNellis) Oestreich. She graduated from Grove City High School in 1956. She attended Minnesota School of Business and became a keypunch operator. She was married to Ardell Richard Reins at Church of St. Philip, in Litchfield, MN on November 14, 1959. Ardell and Pat moved to Minnetonka in May, 1960, and had four children. Pat was employed with City of Minnetonka in 1979, where she worked in Operations and Maintenance until she retired in 2001. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Alice (McNellis) Oestreich, in-laws, John and Florence (Groebner) Reins, brother, William Oestreich, sisters-in-law Arlene Oestreich, Delores Reins, Arlene Erickson, and Vivian Gulden, and brothers-in-law Bernell Buck, and Robert Erickson. Pat is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years, Ardell Richard Reins, her children, Kathy Heyer (Scott), Dan Reins (Cathy), Lisa Reins, and Nancy Reins, her grandchildren, Courtney Reins (fiancé Brian Kalwasinski), Daniel Heyer, Jacob Reins, Sarah Heyer, and Alexa Reins, her brother Gayle Oestreich of Hutchinson, her sister, Shirley Buck of Litchfield, her sister-in-law, Mary Oestreich of Litchfield, her brother-in-law, Lloyd Gulden of Montevideo, her brother and sister-in-law, Frederick and Darlene Reins of Corcoran, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family, and friends.
