Richard Boyer

Richard Bernard Boyer, age 91, passed away at Lakeside Health Center in Dassel, Mn, just six months after his wife Rosie. A private burial will be at a later date.

Richard was born on April 29, 1935 and was the son of John and Caroline Boyer, he was raised in the Eden Valley area. He was united in marriage to Rosie Boyer on June 25, 1960, they shared 65 years of marriage and raised seven children together around the Litchfield area.

Richard loved spending time with his children and many grandchildren. He had a special love for horses and was always willing to talk about them any chance he had. He enjoyed playing cards, shaking dice, fishing and riding around on his lawnmower.

Richard will be missed and lovingly remembered by the large family he and Rosie built together. He is survived by his children Nancy Stanton; Sharon (Don) Welker; Tom Boyer; Michael (Ann) Boyer; John (Stacie) Boyer; Rich (Angela) Boyer; Daughter in law Veronica Boyer; sisters Millie McCann; Clara Jones; Marge Anderson; Grace Struthers; Shirley Garvey; Darlene Boyer; 14 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

He was proceeded in death by his parents John and Caroline; son Steven Boyer; two sisters and two brothers.
