Robert L. Heidecker

Robert “Bob” L. Heidecker, age 85, of Grove City, MN passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at the Lakeside Nursing Home in Dassel, MN. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at the First Baptist Church in Grove City, MN. Robert Lewis Heidecker, the son of William and Mildred (Widman) Heidecker, was born November 15, 1931 in Castlewood, South Dakota. He served in the US Airforce from 1951 to 1954. He was united in marriage to Rosemary Webster on January 6, 1987 in Arkansas. Bob was an Upholster for 56 years and active in Evangelistic Ministries for many years. He served for 7 years as an Evangelistic Minister for McDowell Memorial Church in Chattanooga, TN. Bob loved Christian Television, Morris Cerallo, John Hagee, along with many other favorites. He loved to work with wood, his favorite hobby, and made many pieces of beautiful furniture. He is survived by his wife Rosemary Heidecker; children Robert Heidecker, Rebecca Stein, Melanie Knopps, Greg Heidecker, Matthew Heidecker and Jennifer Heidecker; five stepchildren Jane, Eric, Ann, Beth and Lawrence; siblings May, Mary, Nellie and John; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother William; and sister Annie.
