Rosella 'Rosie' Boyer

Rosella "Rosie" Theresa Boyer, age 81, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday March 10, 2026 at Lakeside Health Care Center in Dassel, MN.

 A private burial will be at a later date.

Born on October 19, 1944, Rosie was the daughter of Victor and Aurelia Friedman. She was raised in Eden Valley where she attended school. She was united in marriage to Richard Boyer on June 25, 1960, they shared 65 years of marriage and were blessed with 7 children which they raised around the Litchfield area.

Rosie was a faithful member of the Church of Our Lady of Manannah, her bible was never far from her reach. She loved spending time with family and friends. Her grandchildren brought her great joy and happiness. When her great grandchildren started arriving her heart was filled with even more joy. She loved getting to know everyone's unique story. Spending time with friends and having them over to play cards was always a highlight she so enjoyed. She will be remembered for her contagious laugh that brought so much joy to everyone in the room, the love and compassion she felt for everyone and most of all the big hugs and love she was always willing to offer.

Rosie is survived by her husband Richard and her children Nancy Stanton; Sharon (Don) Welker; Tom Boyer; Michael (Ann) Boyer; John (Stacie) Boyer and Rich (Angela) Boyer; daughter in law Veronica Boyer; brother Norb (Pat) Friedman; 14 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Victor and Aurelia; son Steven Boyer; three sisters and two brothers.

Richard Boyer and family would like to express gratitude for the devoted staff at Lakeside Health Care Center for caring and loving their wife and mother over the past two years. Rosie will be greatly missed by all the lives she touched.
