Scott Wayne Shoutz, 63, of Grove City, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022, at CentraCare Hospital in St. Cloud.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 7, 2023, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. with a prayer service starting at 3:00 p.m. at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield.

Scott was born on August 26, 1959, in Litchfield, MN, to Wayne and Sharon (Lindquist) Shoutz.  He attended Grove City Public School in Grove City, MN.

On July 24, 1982, he married his first wife, Eileen Hanson, in Andover, MN, and they welcomed two children: Jeremiah and Samantha. In February of 1996, Scott and Eileen divorced. In June of 2000, Scott married his second wife, Patricia Kunkle, and they welcomed another son, Wayne.

Scott was a man of many trades.  He was a block layer and lineman, and worked as a nightwatchman at Sparboe Farms.  He also worked at Jenny-O Litchfield Plant, Palm Industry, Pollock MFG, and Master Mark Plastics.

Scott enjoyed many outdoor activities. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, 4x4 mudding, and working on cars. He also loved spending time with his friends and family, playing cards and cribbage, and wine making. Scott was also a part of the Grove City Trap Club, Manannah Pool League, and the Forest City Dart League.

Left to cherish Scott’s memory are his children: Jeremiah Shoutz of Sauk Rapids, MN; Samantha Shoutz of St. Joseph, MN; and Wayne (Bekah Miller) Shoutz of Grove City, MN; siblings: Kathy (Wayne) Pearson, Tammy (Dave) Housman, Randy (Jan) Shoutz, Sara Shoutz, Tina (John) Young, Heidi (Jeff) Johnson, Lisa (Todd) Olson, Jamie (Trisha) Shoutz, and Jenny (Dan) Floren; and two grandchildren.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Todd; granddaughter, Emily; nephews, Colten and Kevin; and former wife, Patricia.
