Teodes Kathryn Christensen

Teodes Kathryn Christensen age 87 formally of Litchfield, MN passed away on June 24, 2024, at Willows Landing in Monticello, MN. 

She was born on April, 7, 1937 to Aubner and Gertrude Kragenbring (Wheeler) in Atwater, MN. Kathy graduated from Litchfield High school in 1955 and married James Christensen on October 11, 1958 at the First Presbyterian Church in Litchfield, MN. She attended the St. Paul’s Lutheran church in Litchfield. Kathy enjoyed quilting, Embroidering, reading, puzzles, painting ceramics, and spending time with her grandkids. She also helped plan class reunions for the class of 1955. 

She is survived by her children Vic (Pam) Christensen of Alexandria, MN and Deb (Steve) Stoffer of Monticello, MN, grandchildren Jamie, Ashley, Alysia, Amber, Derrick, Ryan, Dustin, and Kelsey, and 9 great grandchildren. Sisters Bonnie Fenner of Fort. Collins, CO, and Geri (Jerry) Keavy of St. Louis Park, MN and Sisters-in-law Mary Lee Kragenbring of St. Cloud, MN, Janice Christensen of Litchfield and Carolyn Christensen of Litchfield. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Jim; son Jim Christensen; brother John (Jack) Kragenbring, Owen Kragenbring, Lee Kragenbring, and Ronnie Kragenbring. 

A private family service will be held at Ripley Cemetery.
