Thomas Crosbie

Thomas R. Crosbie, age 91 of Litchfield died Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at the Meeker Manor in Litchfield. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday August 10, 2016 at the First Presbyterian Church in Litchfield with a one hour visitation prior to the service. Interment will be held at Lake Ripley Cemetery, Litchfield, MN. Military Honors will be provided by the Litchfield Military Honor Guard. Thomas R. Crosbie, the son of Robert and Violet (Lewke) Crosbie was born on July 21, 1925 in Minneapolis, MN. He was united in marriage to Marian Cook on December 14, 1946 in Anoka, MN. Tom served in the US Navy in the South West Pacific, New Guinea and the Marshall Islands from 1943 to 1946. He enjoyed trains, camping, traveling, telling stories and spending time with his family. Tom is survived by his children David Crosbie of Goodyear, AZ, Kenneth (Alice) Crosbie of Elk River, MN, Kerry (Sharrolynn) Crosbie of Coon Rapids, MN, Roger (Mary) Crosbie of Litchfield, MN, Karen (David) Larson of Litchfield, MN and Ramona (Lane) Walker of Wapello, Iowa; 19 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; sister Jeanette McLarty; and nieces and nephews.
