Verna Ardell Kulseth

Verna Ardell Kulseth (Sletten), 79, passed away on Thursday, January 22 in Litchfield, MN. She was born in Grygla, Minnesota to Marvin and Ingeborg (Tanem) Sletten on January 21, 1947. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at 2:00 pm in the Ripley Cemetery.

Verna married the love of her life, Duane Kulseth. Together they raised their family, twin sons, Dean and Daniel and daughter, Denise in Litchfield.

Verna worked at Jennie-O in Litchfield. After Duane's death in 1979, she became a stay-at-home mom. After the kids left the house, she worked a few factory jobs.

Verna enjoyed the simple things in life. She loved dogs, listening to country western music and visiting with her family. Verna is preceded in death by husband, Duane (1979); son, Daniel (2024); parents, Marvin and Ingeborg; sisters Aryls Rorhbeck and Donna Jellum. She is survived by son, Dean (Chrissy Friedricks); daughter, Denise (Clayton) Vedbraaten; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Ronald (Annette) Stellen.
